Ballarat Link Road Next Stages

The next stages of the Ballarat Link Road will support economic and residential growth in the city’s west, connecting the Ballarat West Employment Zone (BWEZ), the Ballarat Airport and the region’s major highways.

The 12-kilometre arterial link along Ballarat’s western urban boundary will relieve congestion and improve travel times for residents and businesses and support efficient movement of freight to and from Ballarat.

It will improve connectivity for 10,000 residents who live in the Ballarat West Growth Area, and the 16,000 people expected to move to growth area suburbs including Lucas, Alfredton, and Winter Valley in the next five years.

The project will support an expected $300 million in investment at BWEZ.
